Brian Stokes Mitchell to Make Provincetown Debut at Crown & Anchor

The two-time Tony winner will perform two cabaret sets on August 6.

Two-time Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell will make his Provincetown, Massachusetts, debut with two cabaret sets in the Paramount Theater at the Crown & Anchor on Sunday, August 6. He will be accompanied by music director and conductor Mark Hummel.

Mitchell won Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle awards in 2000 for his performance in Kiss Me, Kate. He was also Tony-nominated for performances in Man of La Mancha, King Hedley II, and Ragtime. He received an Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award in 2016.

Mitchell will appear as part of the 2017 Crown & Anchor Cabaret Series. Other performers appearing in the series throughout August include Billy Porter, Linda Lavin, and Sandra Bernhard.
