Fitzgerald, Metz, Stephens, et al. Set for McCarter’s Christmas Carol

Full casting and creative team information has been announced for McCarter Theatre Center’s annual production of A Christmas Carol, December 2-23. The show will be directed by Michael Unger, with choreography by Tony Award winner Rob Ashford.

Adapted by David Thompson with music and lyrics by Michael Starobin, Charles Dickens’ timeless holiday masterpiece tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his magical journey into Christmas past, present and future.

James A. Stephens will star as Scrooge. The cast will also include Lisa Altomare, Barnaby Carpenter, Kevin Collins, Kathy Fitzgerald, Richard Gallagher, Karron Graves, Janet Metz, Isaac Garret Sinclair Newman, Ned Noyes, John O’Creagh, Karen Pittman, and Ronica Reddick.

The ensemble includes Joel Bauer, Adolpho Blaire, Christopher Brady, Laurie Gardner, Jason Benjamin Gill, Shanna Heverly, Nick Kepley, Mary Elizabeth Milton, Mahalia Miner-LeGrand, Jed Peterson, and Jill Sanders.

The creative team will include Ming Cho Lee (set), Jess Goldstein (costumes), Stephen Strawbridge (lighting), Brian Ronan (sound), and Charles Sundquist (musical direction).
