Adapted by playwright Lee Hall from the Oscar-winning 1998 film, Shakespeare in Love is described as follows: "This exuberant theatrical 'love letter' is filled with music and a huge cast of colorful characters (and one feisty dog). The play introduces Will Shakespeare as he struggles with writer's block – and a forbidden romance with the woman who inspires some of his greatest work. An epic Elizabethan extravaganza – it is rousing, funny, and a beautiful homage to love, art and the Bard himself."

Completing the ensemble is Ames Adamson, Marcus Dean Fuller, Edmond Genest, Julian Blake Gordon, Ryan Halsaver, Javon Johnson, Spencer Lackey, Garrett Lawson, David H. Littleton, David Andrew Macdonald, Anthony Marble, Quentin McCuiston, Colin McPhillamy, Seamus Mulcahy, Erika Rolfsrud, Aurea Tomeski, Patrick Toon, and Joelle Zazz.
