Struck Makes Its World Premiere at New Jersey Repertory Company

Sandy Rustin’s new play explores fate, family, and self-identity.

The world premiere of Sandy Rustin's Struck begins performances next Thursday, June 30 at New Jersey Repertory Company.

The play is described as "a serious comedy about a (possibly) cosmic event." It follows Vera Resnick, who, after being struck by a bike while crossing an East Village intersection, feels an eerie connection to the college-aged student responsible for the collision.

Directed by Don Stephenson, the cast features Jenny Bacon, Adam Bradley, Susan Maris, Ben Puvalowski, and Matthew Shepard.

The production team also includes Jessica Parks (set design and props), Brian Snyder (technical director), Jill Nagle (lighting design), Merek Royce Press (sound design), Patricia E. Doherty (costume design), and Jennifer Tardibuono (stage manager).
