Award-winning actors Piper Laurie and Amanda Plummer and playwrights John Guare and Martin Sherman will be among the participants at this year’s Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival, to be held March 21-25 at various venues.

The actresses will participate in Talking Tennessee, in which they will discuss their work in Williams’ plays, as well as Hiding in Plain Sight: Tennessee Williams Treasures, which features readings from the playwright’s many works.

Laurie will also hold her own discussion, Living Out Loud, while Plummer will join actress Jodie Markell and David Savran for a discussion entitled Williams’ Sexual Politics.

Guare and Sherman will join fellow playwrights John Biguenet and Jewelle Gomez for another panel discussion, entitled The Theatre Now.

Other theatrical events will include performances and readings of The Glass Mendacity, A Streetcar Named Desire, Broomstick, and An Autobiography of My Brother.
