The Stratford-Upon-Avon engagement of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Hecuba has been canceled in order to allow time for star Vanessa Redgrave to recover from an operation.

The show is now scheduled for a run at London’s Albery Theatre from March 26 through May 7. Hecuba will then play in the U.S. at the Kennedy Center (May 21-June 12) and at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (June 16 -26).

This new version of Hecuba is written by Tony Harrison and directed by RSC associate director Laurence Boswell.
