Alan Rachins Set for Powerhouse’s What’s the Story? Festival

Stage and television veteran Alan Rachins will kick off What’s The Story?, a festival of new full-length solo performance works, to run February 8-19 at the Powerhouse Theatre in Santa Monica, California.

Rachins’ piece, Ready! Aim! Slit Your Wrists: My Army Story, will be seen on February 8 and 9. Other performer/writers in the festival include Lisa Marie Sandoval, Jennifer Pagan, Mariel Rodriguez, Anita Byrd, Gabby Friedenthal, Christina Johnson, and Joseph Valdez.

Rachins appeared on Broadway in After the Rain, Hadrian VII, and Oh! Calcutta!, and was seen Off-Broadway in The Trojan Women. He is best known for playing the roles of Douglas Brackman, Jr. on the NBC series L.A. Law and Larry Finklestein on the ABC sitcom Dharma and Greg.
