Barrett Foa, George S. Irving, Marian Seldes, and Paxton Whitehead will appear in the next installment of Project Shaw, to be held at 7pm on Monday, February 19 at the Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South). Howard Kissel from The New York Daily News will host. The series is produced and directed by David Staller.

This month’s installment will consist of three little-known Shaw one-act plays. The first, The King, The Constitution and The Lady, has never before been performed in New York, and is about Edward the VIII on the verge of abdicating his throne.

The other plays are The Music Cure, which concerns a mysterious woman who pulls a neurotic young aristocrat out of his depression through music; and Interlude at the Playhouse, which takes us to the opening night at a new theater, where the nervous manager is scheduled to make a speech, but his wife is forced to save the day.
