Tony Award winner Sutton Foster will be the special guest star on the Saturday, January 20 episode of the Disney Channel series Johnny and the Sprites, starring John Tartaglia in the title role.

In the episode, which is scheduled to air at 10am EST, Foster will play Tina, the younger sister of Johnny. The pair will sing “It All Adds Up to My Sister,” written for the show by Gary Adler, the show’s musical director and composer of Altar Boyz.

Johnny and the Sprites, which recently began its first season, tells the story of a young singer/songwriter who moves to the country and discovers a portal in his backyard leading to an enchanted world of magical creatures known as the Sprites. The show involves many theater folk, including former Avenue Q star Natalia Venetia Belcon as Johnny’s next-door neighbor Gwen, composer Stephen Schwartz, who wrote the title tune, and choreographer Donna Drake.

Foster is currently appearing in The Drowsy Chaperone, for which she received a Tony nomination, and she won the Tony for Thoroughly Modern Millie. Tartaglia is currently on Broadway as Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, and received a Tony nomination for his work as Princeton/Rod in Avenue Q.
