Callaway, Lang, McDonald, Prince, Naughton, et al. to Appear at NJPAC

Four-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald and Grammy Award-winning singer k.d. lang are among the artists to appear in the coming months at NJPAC.

McDonald will perform at Prudential Hall on April 5, while lang, who is promoting her new CD Watershed, will take the Prudential stage on March 12. Other notable performers will include singer Jill Scott (March 5-6), cellist Yo-Yo Ma (March 10), the Discovery Orchestra performing selections from West Side Story (April 17), the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus (May 17), and comedian Steve Harvey (June 21).

Theatrical offerings include the family musical Brand New Kid, written by Katie Couric (January 26); tours of The Wedding Singer (February 5-10), My Fair Lady (March 18-23), Riverdance (April 22-27), and Movin’ Out (June 10-15); Aquila Theater’s production of Julius Caesar (April 12); and The Paper Bag Players in On Top of Spaghetti (April 26-27).

NJPAC’s popular cabaret series in The Chase Room will feature Faith Prince (January 26), Klea Blackhurst and Billy Stritch (February 9), James Naughton (March 22), and Liz Callaway (May 3).
