Book of Mormon Principal Cast Members Extend Broadway Contracts Through February 2013

The original principal cast members for the Broadway production of The Book of Mormon — Josh Gad, Andrew Rannells, Nikki M. James, Rory O’Malley, and Michael Potts — have all extended their contracts in the musical through February 2013. Supporting cast members Lewis Cleale and Brian Tyree Henry have also extended their contracts for the same period.
The Tony Award-winning musical is written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with Robert Lopez. It follows a pair of mismatched Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that’s about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get.
The production, which performs at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre, is co-directed by Parker and Casey Nicholaw, who also serves as the production’s choreographer.
