The upcoming star of Disney's Aladdin on Broadway, Adam Jacobs, is a new father of twin baby boys. Jacob and his wife, actress Kelly Jacobs, have announced that the newborns, Jack Loren Jacobs and Alex Gregory Jacobs, were delivered early Monday morning, weighing in at 5 pounds 12 ounces and 4 pounds 11 ounces, respectively. The little bundles of joy are certainly lucky to have Aladdin himself to "show them the world."

"Kelly and I are so incredibly thrilled to welcome two healthy boys into our life," said Jacobs in a statement. "My wife just amazes me. I couldn't be more proud of my beautiful family."

Broadway's Aladdin is a new stage-musical version of the animated Disney classic. It is set to open at the New Amsterdam Theatre on March 20. In addition to Jacobs, James Monroe Iglehart (Memphis), Courtney Reed (In the Heights), and Jonathan Freeman (The Little Mermaid) lead the cast.

Featuring the classic Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice score with songs such as "Friend Like Me" and the Academy Award-winning "A Whole New World," Aladdin will use a new book and additional lyrics by Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer).
