Lawrence Wright’s new solo show My Trip to Al-Qeada, based on his best-selling book The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11, will play The Culture Project, March 1-April 14. The production will be directed by Gregory Mosher.

Wright’s work is the result of interviews with over 600 people, including members of Al-Qaeda. He uses never-before-seen evidence, transcripts, and court documents to illustrate how this organization fomented and implemented its attack on America and became a defining force in our foreign policy and national psyche. In addition to being a staff writer for The New Yorker, Wright has written the screenplays for The Siege and Noreiga: God’s Favorite.

Mosher’s many directorial credits include the Broadway productions of Glengarry Glen Ross (for which he received a Tony Award nomination), Speed-the-Plow, Our Town, and A Streetcar Named Desire.
