Sandy Binion, Joe Cassidy, Adam Heller, and Sally Wilfert will star in Make Me a Song: The Music of William Finn, a revue dedicated to the work of the Tony Award-winning composer, which will begin performances at the Zipper on April 6. The production, to be directed by Rob Ruggiero, will open officially on April 19.

The show was first seen last year at Hartford Stage, featuring the same cast — including pianist John DePinto, who will repeat his duties here — and also directed by Ruggiero.
The creative team includes Luke Hegel-Cantrarella (sets), Alejo Vietti (costumes), John Lasiter (lighting), and Tony Meola and Kai Harada (sound).

Finn’s work for the stage includes The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Falsettos, Romance in Hard Times, and Elegies: A Song Cycle.

Binion’s stage credits include Jane Eyre, Sunset Bouelvard, and ShowTunes. Cassidy’s Broadway credits include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, 1776, and Show Boat. Heller’s stage credits include Caroline, or Change, A Class Act, and Merrily We Roll Along. Wilfert’s Broadway credits include Assassins and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
