Spring Awakening‘s Jonathan Groff to Join Cast of One Life to Live

Spring Awakening star Jonathan Groff will join the cast of the ABC daytime drama One Life to Live on April 18 in the recurring role of Henry, according to TVGuide.com. Henry is an apparently shy teenager who will eventually turn out not to be quite so shy.
Groff plays the lead role of Melchior in Spring Awakening, the hit Broadway musical that also stars Lea Michele, John Gallagher, Jr., Christine Estabrook, and Stephen Spinella. He previously appeared on Broadway in the Joe Brooks musical In My Life.
One Life to Live has a long history of hiring theater-trained actors. Among its current cast members are Broadway veterans Robin Strasser, Catherine Hickland, Ilene Kristen, Kathy Brier, Peter Bartlett, and Tony Award winner Patricia Elliott.
