Broadway’s The Story of My Life to Close on February 22

Neil Bartram and Brian Hill’s two-character musical The Story of My Life, will close on Sunday, February 22 at the Booth Theatre after a run of five regular performances and 18 previews. The show opened on February 19 to mostly mixed to negative reviews.

The production, which is directed by Tony Award winner Richard Maltby, Jr., stars Will Chase and Malcolm Gets as childhood friends Thomas (Chase) and Alvin (Gets) whose lives drift apart as adults.

Chase’s many Broadway credits include Rent, High Fidelity, Lennon, Aida, and Miss Saigon. Gets received a Tony Award nomination for Amour and a Drama Desk Award nomination for Merrily We Roll Along. He also starred on the NBC sitcom Caroline in the City.
