John Glover, Michael Cerveris, Alvin Epstein, and More to Star in Linclon Center’s Nikolai and The Others

David Cromer will direct the new play by Richard Nelson this spring.

John Glover (Death of a Salesman), Michael Cerveris (Evita), Alvin Epstein (The Threepenny Opera), Betsy Aidem (Nurse Jackie, The West Wing), Blair Brown (Copenhagen), Anthony Cochrane (War Horse), Lauren Culpepper (House of Cards), Kathryn Erbe (A Month in the Country), Jennifer B. Grace (Our Town off-Broadway), Katie Kreisler (Noises Off), Stephen Kunken (The Columnist), Haviland Morris (Tartuffe: Born Again), Dale Place (Hedda Gabler Off-Broadway), John Procaccino (An Enemy of the People), Gareth Saxe (The Lion King), and Alan Schmuckler will star in the world premiere Lincoln Center Theater production of Tony Award winner Richard Nelson’s (Chess) Nikolai and The Others. David Cromer (The House of Blue Leaves) will direct, with previews beginning on April 4 and a May 6 opening.

In the play, a close-knit group of Russian emigres, including choreographer George Balanchine, composer Igor Stravinsky, conductor Serge Koussevitsky, painter/set designer Sergey Sudeikin, and composer Nikolai Nabokov, gather to eat, drink and talk during a spring weekend in Westport, CT in 1948.

Nikolai and The Others will have sets by Marsha Ginsberg, costumes by Jane Greenwood, lighting by Ken Billington, sound by Daniel Kluger, choreography by George Balanchine, and ballet staging by Rosemary Dunleavy.
