David Garrison and Jenna Leigh Green will soon join the cast of the Broadway production of Wicked. Garrison, who has played the Wizard in the show’s national tour, will come to Broadway in that role on April 4, replacing Ben Vereen. Green, who played Nessarose on the tour, will join the Broadway company in the same role on March 17, replacing Cristy Candler.

Garrison has previously appeared on Broadway in A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine, Titanic, Bells Are Ringing, and Torch Song Trilogy. He also starred as Steve Rhoades in the hit TV series Married with Children. Green, who will make her Broadway debut in Wicked, co-starred in bare: a pop opera Off-Broadway and has appeared in Los Angeles productions of The Wizard of Oz and The Secret Garden, but is perhaps best known for playing Libby Chesler on the popular TV series Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Wicked also stars Eden Espinosa (Elphaba), Megan Hilty (Glinda), Carol Kane (Madame Morrible), Derrick Williams (Fiyero), Sean McCourt (Dr. Dillamond), and Rob Sapp (Boq).
