Jim Caruso’s Broadway series at Birdland, co-sponsored by TheaterMania, resumes with a special run of concerts by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown and the Caucasian Rhythm Kings (April 4-7). Brown is best known as the composer-lyricist of such shows as Parade and The Last 5 Years.

The regular Monday night concerts, which are followed by Jim Caruso’s Cast Party, will resume on April 9 with a performance by Brown’s wife, singer-songwriter Georgia Stitt. The series will continue with country superstar Victoria Shaw (April 16), the award-winning a cappella group Toxic Audio (April 23), and a salute to the music of Steve Marzullo that will feature a star-studded lineup of guest singers including Judy Blazer, Kate Baldwin, Terri Klausner, Andrea Burns, Liz Callaway, Judy McLane, Leslie Kritzer, Liz Larsen, and Ann Harada (April 30).

Featured in May will be Broadway star Nancy Anderson with Ross Paterson and his Little Big Band (May 7), and two-time Tony nominee Melissa Errico (May 21 and 28). Malcolm Gets, Errico’s Amour co-star, will perform at the club on June 4 and 11. He will be followed on June 18 by Tom Kitt and Amanda Green, the singer-songwriter team who wrote the Broadway musical High Fidelity.

Cover charges for the series range from $25 to $35, and all shows have a $10 food/drink minimum. For more information, visit www.birdlandjazz.com.
