Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin to Join Broadway’s Chicago

Real-life married couple Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin will play the roles of Roxie Hart and Billy Flynn in the long-running Broadway revival of Chicago, June 19-July 29. Rinna will assume the role first on the show’s national tour, beginning May 29 in Portland, Oregon.

The show will mark Rinna’s Broadway debut. She is best known for her roles on the television series Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place, as the Emmy-nominated co-host of TV’s Soap Talk, and for her appearance on the ABC-TV series Dancing with the Stars.

Hamlin has previously appeared on Broadway in revivals of Awake and Sing! and Summer and Smoke. His film and television work includes L.A. Law, Making Love, Clash of the Titans, and his own appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

Chicago features a score by John Kander and the late Fred Ebb, including such hits as “All That Jazz,” “Mister Cellophane,” “Razzle Dazzle” and “Nowadays.” The production is directed by Walter Bobbie with choreography by Ann Reinking

Chicago currently stars Bebe Neuwirth as Roxie Hart, Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Philip Casnoff as Billy Flynn, Rob Bartlett as Amos Hart, Roz Ryan as Matron Mama Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
