La Mirada’s 30th Anniversary Season to Include Cathy Rigby in Sylvia

The La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, located in La Mirada, California, has announced the schedule for their 30th Anniversary season.

The season will begin with Too Old for the Chorus (September 28-October 14), a musical revue about aging co-written by Marie Cain, Mark Winkler, and Shelly Markham.
Next up, the theater’s co-owner Cathy Rigby will star as the title canine character of A.R. Gurney’s popular comedy Sylvia (November 2-18).

In 2008, La Mirada will present two works by Pulitzer Prize winner Alfred Uhry, Driving Miss Daisy (February 1-17) and The Last Night of Ballyhoo (June 6-22), along with a revival of the Tom Jones-Harvey Schmidt musical I Do! I Do! (April 11-27).
