Lincoln Center Theater has announced details for the May events in its Platform Series of free-to-the-public pre-performance talks. Events take place in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street). Admission is free and open to all, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

On Wednesday, May 6 at 6 pm, the creators of the new musical Happiness — director/choreographer Susan Stroman, librettist John Weidman, composer Scott Frankel, and lyricist Michael Korie — will talk about the show, which is currently playing at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.

On Thursday, May 28 at 5:30 pm, several of the stars of Lincoln Center’s Broadway production of August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone — including Chad L. Coleman, Ernie Hudson, Latanya Richardson Jackson, and Roger Robinson — will participate in a discussion. The play is currently running at the Belasco Theater.
