Julia Duffy to Guest Star in April 22 You’ve Got Hate Mail

Emmy Award nominee Julia Duffy will guest star in the April 22 performance of You’ve Got Hate Mail, a comedy written by Billy Van Zandt & Jane Milmore, at the Triad Theatre. Gary Shaffer has directed the production.

The play concerns an extra-marital affair that goes horribly wrong, thanks to a juicy e-mail left sitting on a desktop. The story is told entirely in e-mails from laptop computers. Starring along with Duffy are ensemble cast regulars Glenn Jones, Barbara Bonilla, co-author Billy Van Zandt, and Fran Solgan.

Duffy received several Emmy nominations for her work in Newhart and is also known for her television appearances in Designing Women and other programs. She appeared on Broadway in Once in a Lifetime, and has also done stage work regionally.
