Kristen Bush, Kieran Campion Set for Roundabout’s The Common Pursuit

Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Simon Gray’s The Common Pursuit, to run May 4-July 29 at the Laura Pels Theatre. The production, which will open officially on May 24, will be directed by Moises Kaufman.


The play chronicles 20 years in the lives of six friends, from their ambitious collegiate days to their surprising discoveries in the real world.


The play will star Kristen Bush (Marigold), Kieran Campion (Peter), Josh Cooke (Stuart), Jacob Fishel (Martin), Tim McGeever (Humphry), and Lucas Near-Verbrugghe (Nick).


The design team includes Derek McLane (sets), Clint Ramos (costumes), and David Lander (lighting).


Gray’s many works include Butley, Otherwise Engaged, and Quartermaine’s Terms.


Kaufman’s many directorial credits include Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, Macbeth, and I Am My Own Wife. He has also written and directed such works as 33 Variations, The Laramie Project, and Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde.
