Nicky Silver’s The Lyons celebrated its opening night at Broadway’s
Cort Theatre on Monday, April 23 with a post-performance party at Sardi’s.
Mark Brokaw directs the production, which stars Linda Lavin as domineering Lyons family matriarch Rita, Dick Latessa as her dying husband, and Michael Esper and Kate Jennings Grant as their emotionally damaged children. Brenda Pressley and Gregory Wooddell round-out the company. The production originated this past fall Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre.
