Incubus lead vocalist Brandon Boyd, Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams, *NSYNC star JC Chasez, Sex Pistols front man John "Johnny Rotten" Lydon, and U.K. stage star Ben Forster will lead a 50-city North American tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar this summer.

Directed by Laurence Connor (Broadway's current revival of Les Misérables), the production will embark on a 50-city engagement beginning at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans on June 9. The show will hit major cities including New York, at Madison Square Garden, on August 5, through the end of the summer. The arena show will feature more than 50 cast members and musicians onstage, as well as state-of-the-art technology. Michael Cohl serves as the tour's producer.

This production of Jesus Christ Superstar first toured the United Kingdom and Australia in 2012 and 2013. To promote the upcoming shows, the performers and the show's creators took the stage at the Hammerstein Ballroom for a special concert on Friday, April 4.
