Tim Healy, Dearbhla Molloy to Join Orlando Bloom in In Celebration

Tim Healy and Dearbhla Molloy will join previously announced stars Orlando Bloom, Lynda Baron, Gareth Farr, Paul Hilton, and Ciaran McIntyre in the London revival of David Storey’s 1969 drama In Celebration, which will begin previews July 5 at the Duke of York’s Theatre and will open officially on July 12.

The production will be directed by Anna Mackmin; the creative team ncludes Lez Brotherson (sets and costumes), Mark Henderson (lighting), and John Leonard (sound). Among Mackmin’s many directing credits are Dying for It, The Lightning Play, and Ghosts.

In the play, three brothers return home to the northern roots of their childhood for a family reunion. While they have come home to celebrate, the explosive complexities of family life and long-held grievances threaten to ruin the party.

Healy, who will play Mr. Shaw, has appeared in the West End in Billy Elliot, Art, and Twelve Angry Men. Molloy, who will play Mrs. Shaw, has starred in numerous plays in the West End and Broadway, including A Touch of the Poet,
All My Sons, and Dancing at Lughnasa, for which she received a Tony Award nomination, as well as Drama Desk and Theatre World Awards.

Bloom will make his West End debut in the play. His film credits include two trilogies, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lord of the Rings, along with Black Hawk Down, Troy, and Elizabethtown.
