Broadway’s The Motherf**ker With the Hat Extends Through July 17

Stephen Adly Guirgis’ Tony Award nominated The Motherf**ker With the Hat has extended its Broadway run at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, and will now play through July 17.
Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, the play focuses on a couple who have been in love since the 8th grade. But now, he’s on parole and living clean and sober under the guidance of his sponsor, while she’s far from sober. Still, their love is pure. And true. Nothing can come between them — except a hat.
The company features Tony Award nominees Bobby Cannavale, Elizabeth Rodriquez, and Yul Vazquez, as well as Chris Rock and Annabella Sciorra.
The production features original music by Terence Blanchard, scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Mimi O’Donnell, lighting design by Donald Holder and sound design by Acme Sound Partners.
