Annie Funke Returns to Silence! The Musical
Annie Funke is returning to the cast of Silence! The Musical tonight, May 2nd in the role of Buffalo Bill’s plus-sized victim, Catherine Martin. Silence! is currently playing at The 9th Space Theatre at Performance Space 122.
With a book by Hunter Bell and music and lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, this unauthorized parody of the thriller Silence of the Lambs is directed and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli. Music Supervisor is Mark Hartman, with orchestrations by Brian J. Nash.
Funke played Tracy Turnblad in the Broadway production of Hairspray and appeared in the national tour of Wicked. Additional stage credits include Once Upon a Mattress, Steel Magnolias ,You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Fame, The Producers, and Grease!
David Garrison and Jenn Harris head the cast of Silence! The Musical which also features Callan Bergmann, Stephen Bienskie, Harry Bouvy, Ashlee Dupré, Deidre Goodwin, Howard Kaye, and Topher Nuccio.
