To all Broadway fans in the tri-state area, the cast of Pippin says: “Join us…”

Broadway’s acclaimed revival of Pippin, recent recipient of 10 Tony Award nominations, is inviting all interested parties to sing along with Andrea Martin on her audience participation-filled number, “No Time At All,” for the Broadway cast album. The recording session will take place on Tuesday, May 7 at 12:30pm and will offer a special appearance by the show’s composer and lyricist, Stephen Schwartz.

Currently running at the Music Box Theatre, Pippin melds Fosse-style choreography with death-defying circus tricks to tell a classic coming-of-age story. The cast album will feature the voices of Matthew James Thomas as Pippin, Tony and Olivier Award nominee Patina Miller as the Leading Player, Tony Award nominee Terrence Mann as Charlemagne, Tony Award nominee Charlotte d’Amboise as Fastrada, Rachel Bay Jones as Catherine, and Tony Award winner Andrea Martin as Berthe. Other members of the company include Erik Altemus, Grégory Arsenal, Andrew Cekala, Lolita Costet, Colin Cunliffe, Andrew Fitch, Orion Griffiths, Viktoria Grimmy, Sabrina Harper, Olga Karmansky, Bethany Moore, Brad Musgrove, Stephanie Pope, Philip Rosenberg, Yannick Thomas, Molly Tynes, Anthony Wayne, and Ashton Woerz.

The album is coproduced by Kurt Deutsch and Schwartz himself, along with Janet Kagan, serving as executive producer. Ghostlight Records plans to release the recording this coming June.
