Terrence McNally's new Tony-nominated play Mothers and Sons has announced a partnership with the 29th Annual AIDS Walk New York, the East Coast's first and the world's largest AIDS fundraising event, scheduled for Sunday, May 18.

McNally will speak during the event's opening ceremony, and Bobby Steggert, one of the play's featured actors, will sing "You'll Never Walk Alone" from Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel. The Tony-nominated leading lady of Mothers and Sons, Tyne Daly, will also make a special appearance.

Fans can join the Mothers and Sons team during the walk by registering online here or by calling the AIDS Walk office at (212) 807-9255 and providing the team name "Mothers and Sons on Broadway, #5151." Donations can also be made to the Mother and Sons on Broadway team online here.

Sign-in at Sunday's event begins at 8:30am, with the opening ceremony scheduled to begin at 9:15am and the walk at 10am. The entrance to the sign-in is located at 59th Street and 5th Avenue.

Now playing at the John Golden Theatre, Mothers and Sons follows the mother of a man who died 20 years ago from an AIDS-related illness. She pays a surprise visit to her son's former lover, who is now married to another man and has a young child. The company features Tyne Daly, Frederick Weller, Bobby Steggert, and Grayson Taylor.
