Brent Barrett, Tom Riis Farrell, Samantha Harris, Roz Ryan, Chandra Wilson, et al. to Join Broadway’s Chicago

Additional cast changes have been announced for the Broadway production of Chicago, playing the Ambassador Theatre.

In addition to the previously announced Chandra Wilson as Matron “Mama” Morton (June 8-July 5) and Samantha Harris as Roxie Hart (July 7-August 16), new cast members will also include Bryn Dowling as Roxie (June 15-28), Bonnie Langford as Roxie (June 29-July 5), Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn (July 7-August 16), Tom Riis Farrell as Amos Hart (June 15-August 9), and Roz Ryan as Mama Morton (July 7-August 30). Amra-Faye Wright will continue as Velma Kelly (through August 23).

As part of the show’s Talkback Series, Wilson will be featured June 23 and Harris will be featured on both July 14 and August 11.

The musical has a score by John Kander and the late Fred Ebb, including such hits as “All That Jazz,” “Mister Cellophane,” “Razzle Dazzle,” and “Nowadays.” The production is directed by Walter Bobbie with choreography by Ann Reinking. The musical won six 1997 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical.

The current cast also includes Charlotte d’Amboise as Roxie (through June 14), Tom Hewitt as Billy (through July 5), Raymond Bokhour as Amos (through June 14), and Sofia Vergara as Mama Morton (through June 7).
