The Broadway production of Irena’s Vow will play its final performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre on June 28. At that time, it will have played 21 previews and 105 regular performances.

Dan Gordon’s drama, directed by Michael Parva, tells the story of Irena Gut Opdyke, who was forced to work as head housekeeper for a very prominent major, during the German occupation of Poland. Over a two year period of service, Irena would be confronted with the choice to protect twelve Jewish refugees who secretly fell under her care.

The production stars Tovah Felshuh in the title role, with Sandi Carroll, Tracee Chimo, Steven Hauck, Scott Klavan, Peter Reznikoff, Thomas Ryan, Gene Silvers, John Stanisci, and Maja Wampuszyc. The show previously played a sold-out Off-Broadway run with the same cast.
