The Broadway revival of Born Yesterday will play its final performance at the Cort Theatre on June 26. Doug Hughes has directed the production, which opened on April 24 and has played 73 performances.
The award-winning comedy focuses on Harry Brock, a not-so-honest businessman, and Billie Dawn, a not-so-dumb blonde out to “capitalize” on everything Washington has to offer.
The cast features Jim Belushi, Nina Arianda, Robert Sean Leonard, Frank Wood, Terry Beaver, Patricia Hodges, Michael McGrath, Fred Arsenault, Bill Christ, Jennifer Regan, Liv Rooth, Danny Rutigliano, Andrew Weems, and Chris Barnes.
The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (sets), Catherine Zuber (costumes), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting), and David Van Tieghem (original music/sound).
