Charlotte d’Amboise, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Christopher Sieber, Chris Sullivan Set for Broadway’s Chicago

The Broadway production of Chicago, at the Ambassador Theatre, will be undergoing numerous changes to its principal cast in the coming weeks.

On Monday, June 20 Chris Sullivan will take over the role of Amos Hart from the departing Raymond Bokhour. On Thursday, June 23, Christopher Sieber will return to the role of Billy Flynn, replacing current star Brent Barrett.

On Friday, June 24, Charlotte d’Amboise will return to the role of Roxie Hart, taking over from Christie Brinkley, who plays her final performance on Sunday, June 19. As previously reported, Brinkley is set to reprise her performance as Roxie in the West End production of Chicago later this summer.

On Wednesday, July 6, Nikka Graff Lanzarone will make her debut in the role of Velma Kelly. She takes over for current star Amra-Faye Wright, who will be joining Brinkley in the West End production.

Carol Woods and R. Lowe continue in the roles of Matron “Mama” Morton and Mary Sunshine, respectively.

Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
