American Idol finalist and Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis will sing the national anthem at the 31st Annual Lesbian & Gay Pride Run, to be held in Central Park (102nd Street Transverse & East Drive in the Park) on Saturday, June 23 from 8:30am to 11am.

In addition, Tony nominee Rory O’Malley will host the awards ceremony immediately following the race, and Broadway veteran Wilson Cruz will also join in the festivities. Performers from the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q will do a special performance in the park.

More than 5,000 LGBT runners and their allies will participate in this 5-mile race, produced in conjunction with New York Road Runners and in partnership with City Parks & Recreation and The Central Park Conservancy. This year’s event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
