Christian Camargo, Justin Guarini, Roslyn Ruff Join Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad in Broadway’s Romeo and Juliet

David Leveaux’s revival of Shakespeare’s tragic romance will begin previews August 24 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

Stage veterans Christian Camargo, Justin Guarani, and Roslyn Ruff are among the additional cast members of the upcoming Broadway revival of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. As previously announced, Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad lead the company of David Leveaux’s production in the title roles, alongside Jayne Houdyshell (Nurse), Brent Carver (Friar Laurence), and Chuck Cooper (Lord Capulet).

In the revival, Camargo (All My Sons) will play Mercutio, with Guarini (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) as Paris, and Lucille Lortel Award winner Ruff (The Piano Lesson) as Lady Capulet. Conrad Kemp will costar as Benvolio, with Corey Hawkins as Tybalt, and Geoffrey Owens as Price Escalus. Additional cast and creative team members will be announced in the coming weeks.

Romeo and Juliet will begin previews at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on August 24 in advance of a September 19 opening.
