The Amoralists, a fierce downtown theater company, celebrated the New York premiere of their newest comedy,
Rantoul and Die, on Monday night at the
Cherry Lane Theatre.
Written by Mark Roberts, best known as creator of the CBS sitcom Mike and Molly, Rantoul and Die is set in Rantoul, a small, rural town in Illinois, and follows a group of quintessentially middle-American individuals.
The Amoralists literary manager Jay Stull directs a cast that features Derek Ahonen (The Cheaters Club), Sarah Lemp (The Bad and the Better), Matthew Pilieci (Through the Yellow Hour), and Vanessa Vaché (The Bad and the Better).
