Tony winner Michael Cerveris and Drama Desk winner Laura Osnes will star with Grammy and Oscar winner Randy Newman in a one-night-only concert of Randy Newman's Faust as part of New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center series. Directed by Thomas Kail and choreographed by Marcos Santana, Randy Newman's Faust: The Concert will be performed on July 1.

Featuring a score by Newman, the songwriter behind tunes like "You've Got a Friend in Me" and "Sail Away," Faust premiered in 1995 at the La Jolla Playhouse and was later performed at the Goodman Theatre in 1996. Inspired by the work of Goethe, the musical tells the story of a young Notre Dame freshman caught in the middle of a bet between the Lord and the Devil.

In the concert, Newman will sing the role of the Devil, with Cerveris as Angel Rick, Osnes as Margaret, Isaiah Johnson (Far From Heaven) as the Lord, Vonda Shepard (Ally McBeal) as Martha, Brooklyn Shuck as Angel Child, and Tony Vincent (American Idiot) as Tony Faust.
The production will feature musical direction by Chris Fenwick and will also showcase the gospel ensemble Broadway Inspirational Voices under the direction of choirmaster Michael McElroy.
