NYMF will present a concert performance of Sing Me Home at the The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Café. The new musical features a book by Amber Romina Cassell and music and lyrics by Kristy Hanson. The production will feature musical direction and accompaniment by Angela Parrish and her band for both performances on July 20 and 21.

Starring Broadway favorites Mandy Gonzalez (Wicked) and Telly Leung (Rent), Sing Me Home features a diverse pop-rock score with wide influences from rhythm and blues to country. It tells the story of former music superstar Lexi Angel (Gonzalez) who, on the eve of her big comeback, is confronted by a familiar face (Leung) in need of help.

NYMF is the largest musical theater event in America and provides an affordable platform for artists to mount professional productions that reach their peers, industry leaders, and musical theater fans. Festival shows have gone on to productions on and off-Broadway, and alumni have received a wide array of awards including the Tony Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
