Green Day to Be Subject of Two Documentaries
Grammy Award winners Green Day, who provided the music for the award-winning Broadway musical American Idiot, will be featured in a pair of new documentaries, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The release of the films will coincide with the release of the previously announced Green Day albums, Uno!, Dos!, and Tre!.
Tim Lynch and Tim Wheeler have filmed one documentary that will focus on the making of the new Green Day recordings. In addition, the film will include footage of the band as they rehearse for an upcoming tour to Japan and Europe. The second film will be devised from vintage video of Green Day in their earliest years.
