The Broadway production of Bruce Norris’ Clybourne Park celebrated its 100th performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre on Tuesday, July 17 and welcomed Sarah Goldberg to the cast in the roles of Betsy and Lindsey the same night. Norris, director Pam MacKinnon, producer Jordan Roth, and the company celebrated with a post-performance party at Hurley’s.
Goldberg received a 2011 Olivier Award-nomination for her performance in Clybourne Park at London’s Royal Court and later on the West End. She was recently seen Off-Broadway in Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Look Back in Anger.
Winner of the 2012 Tony Award for Best Play, as well as the 2011 Pulitzer Prize and Olivier Award, the work — about race, real estate and the volatile values of each — examines how a Chicago neighborhood changes over the course of 50 years.
