Theater for the New City to Present Third Dream Up Festival

Theater for the New City will present its third Dream Up Festival, August 19-September 9. The theater’s literary manager Michael Scott-Price will serve as curator.

The Dream Up Festival is a festival of experimental theater featuring new works from across the country and abroad. It will include 22 productions, 21 of which are world premieres. There will be one production from France and one from Montreal, Canada.

The Dream Up Festival staff includes executive director Crystal Field, curator Michael Scott-Price, administrator Jonathan Weber, and festival coordinator Lori Mannette. The festival’s lighting designer is Alexander Bartenieff. Technical directors are Sarah Harris and Roy Chang. Production director is Mark Marcante.
