Elizabeth Ashley and Byron Jennings Join James Earl Jones in Broadway's You Can't Take It With You

Previously announced cast members also include Annaleigh Ashford, Rose Byrne, Kristine Nielsen, and more.

Tony Award winner Elizabeth Ashley and Byron Jennings have joined the cast of Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, You Can't Take It With You, on Broadway. The revival production is set to begin August 26 at the Longacre Theatre in advance of a September 28 opening. Six-time Tony nominee Scott Ellis will direct.

Ashley will join the production in the role of Olga, and Jennings will take on the role of Mr. Kirby. Previously announced cast members include Tony winner James Earl Jones (Gore Vidal's The Best Man), Tony nominee Kristine Nielsen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), Rose Byrne (Damages, Bridesmaids) in her Broadway debut, Tony nominee Annaleigh Ashford (Kinky Boots), Mark Linn-Baker (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), Crystal A. Dickinson (Clybourne Park), Julie Halston (Anything Goes), Marc Damon Johnson (Lucky Guy), Patrick Kerr (Stage Kiss), and Tony nominee Reg Rogers (Holiday).

The creative team will feature set design by three-time Tony nominee David Rockwell, costume design by 2014 special Tony Award recipient Jane Greenwood, lighting design by two-time Tony winner Donald Holder, hair and wig design by Tom Watson, and sound design by Jon Weston. Also as previously announced, three-time Tony winner Jason Robert Brown will write original music for the production.
