Cahoon, Espinosa, Gregory, Rubin-Vega, Spanger, et al. Set for Songs for Soraya Benefit

Kevin Cahoon, Eden Espinosa, Chester Gregory, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Amy Spanger are among the celebrities set to participate in Songs for Soraya, a benefit concert for Soraya Jackson, a 9-year-old battling a pediatric brain tumor. The event will take place at 8pm on Monday, August 27 at The Cutting Room (19 West 24th Street). Jackson is the niece of Rent star Luther Creek.

Also scheduled to perform are Christian Anderson, Matt Caplan, Julia Danao-Salkin, Darius de Haas, Jenna Leigh Green, Christopher J. Hanke, Donnie Kehr, Gerry McIntire, John Eric Parker, Antonique Smith, additional cast members from Rent, and The Broadway Boys. The show will be directed by Schele Williams, with music direction by Jim Abbott. Produced by Jared Rubinstein, the event will also include auctions and raffles to raise additional funds.
