Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Vineyard’s The Internationalist

Liam Craig, Gibson Frazier, Nina Hellman, and Ken Marks will join previously announced stars Annie Parisse and Zak Orth in the Vineyard Theatre production of Anne Washburn’s The Internationalist, October 19-November 26. Directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, the show will open officially on November 7.

Previously seen Off-Off-Broadway, the play concerns the unforgettable experiences of a young American businessman (Orth) who meets a beautiful woman (Parisse) while living and working in a country where he does not speak the language. Washburn’s other plays include Apparition and The Ladies. The show’s creative team includes Andromache Chalfant (sets), Michelle R. Phillips (costumes), Jeff Croiter (lighting), and Robert Kaplowitz (sound).

Craig and Hellman recently co-starred in the Hourglass Group’s production of Trouble in Paradise. Craig’s stage credits also include Aunt Dan and Lemon and Juno and the Paycock. Hellman has starred Off-Broadway in Heddatron, along with Frazier. Marks’ many Broadway credits include After the Fall, Mamma Mia!, and Present Laughter, and he was recently seen Off-Broadway in Stuff Happens.

Parisse’s stage credits include the Off-Broadway productions of The Credeaux Canvas and Monster, and Coastal Disturbances at the Berkshire Theatre Festival. She is well-known to television viewers for her roles of Alexandra Borgia on Law & Order and Julia Lindsay Snyder on As The World Turns. Orth appeared in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Broadway revival of Major Barbara. His Off-Broadway credits include Rope, subUrbia, and the Vineyard production of The Eros Trilogy.
