Jersey Boys Star Jarrod Spector to Play Metropolitan Room in October

Jarrod Spector, who currently stars as Frankie Valli in the Broadway production of Jersey Boys, will make his cabaret debut at the Metropolitan Room on Mondays October 18 and 25, at 9:30pm.

The show, entitled Minor Fall, Major Lift, will chart Spector’s life journey from Star Search champion to Ivy League dropout and back to Broadway, and include covers of songs from The Jackson 5 to Led Zeppelin.

As previously reported, stage veteran and award-winning cabaret artist Marilyn Maye will play the Metropolitan Room on October 8-17; British stage star Simon Green will appear on October 11; and Amanda McBroom, the writer of such hit songs as “The Rose,” will return to the club, October 19-22. Other artists who will appear this month are Laura Hull, Grace Cosgrove, Todd Murray, Joyce Breach, Annie Ross, Nicole Henry, Amanda King, Avery Sommers, Barry Lloyd, Craig Pomranz, Anthony Cochran, Susan Winter, Deb Berman, Carole Bufford, Annie Kozuch, Heather Moran, Vanessa Hollingshead, Daniel Grabionowski, Tish Oney, and Tom Ragu and Lori Summers.
