First Look at Ari Graynor, Cheyenne Jackson, Henry Winkler and Broadway Cast of The Performers

The first photos of the sexy cast of Broadway’s The Performers have been released. David West Read’s new comedy, directed by Evan Cabnet, begins performances at the Longacre Theatre on October 23.

In the romantic comedy, set on the night of the Adult Film Awards in Las Vegas, Lee (played by Daniel Breaker) travels to Sin City with his fiancee Sara (Alicia Silverstone) to interview his old high school friend Mandrew (Cheyenne Jackson), a hot new adult film star. Sara, having doubts about her relationship with the straight-laced Lee, enlists the help of Mandrew’s adult film star wife Peeps (Ari Graynor) to compare notes on her issues. Also on hand are Jenni Barber as Sunshine and TV legend Henry Winkler as Chuck Wood, the hardest working man in the business, to remind everyone that love matters more than size.

The production will have set design by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, costume design by Jessica Wegener Shay and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.
