Reeve Carney and Robert Cuccioli — who respectively star as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Norman Osborn/Green Goblin in the Broadway production of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark — joined costume-clad fellow cast members at the American Museum of Natural History earlier today, September 18.

They were there to see the museum’s “Spiders Alive!” exhibit, curated by Norman Platnik.

Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark, which performs at the Foxwoods Theatre, is inspired by over 40 years of Marvel comic books. It follows the story of teenager Peter Parker, whose unremarkable life is turned upside-down when he’s bitten by a genetically altered spider and must learn that with great powers comes great responsibility.

The show features music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley, original direction by Julie Taymor, and a book co-written by Taymor, Glen Berger, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
