David Adjmi’s Marie Antoinette, Starring Tony Nominee Marin Ireland, Extended at Soho Rep.

The Rebecca Taichman-directed production will run through November 17.

Soho Rep. has extended the New York premiere of David Adjmi’s Marie Antoinette, which will now play October 9-November 17, with an opening night on October 20. The production will be directed by Rebecca Taichman and will star Tony nominee Marin Ireland (The Big Knife).

Marie Antoinette focuses on a moment in time when the political suddenly got very personal. The play marks the beginning of Adjmi’s three-year residency with Soho Rep.
In addition to Ireland, the cast includes Steven Rattazzi, David Greenspan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Karl Miller, Jennifer Ikeda, Aimee Laurence, Chris Stack, and Will Pullen.

The creative team includes Riccardo Hernandez (sets), Anka Lupes (costumes), Stephen Strawbridge (lights), Matt Hubbs (sound), Christopher Ash (video), Amanda Miller (wigs), Jon Knust (props), Sam Pinkleton (choreography), Michael Rossmy (fight choreography), and Amanda Spooner (stage management).
